Lodging and Travel
Lodging
A number of rooms have been blocked in the Grand Hotel du Sablon for the time of the meeting at a rate of 3600 BEF (89.2 EURO) per night including breakfast for a single room and 4200 BEF (104.1 EURO) for a double.
We would like to ask you to make your room reservations directly with the hotel, preferably before Friday, September 29. Please specify that your reservation is for the FINUPHY-meeting. To get a firm reservation, the hotel requires a creditcard number, with the name and expiration date. If you expect to arrive after 18 h, please notify them, but you can anyway check in at any time at night.
Travel
Brugge can be reached by car via the highway E40 (Liege - Brussels - Ostende). Take exit 8 or 7 to Brugge and go to the Parking "ZILVERPAND" which is just around the corner w.r.t. the hotel. It costs 350 BEF (8.7 EURO) per 24 hours. Long term parking in the streets of the city centre is not possible. The hotel is within walking distance (10 - 15 min) from the railway station. There are regular trains from Brussels stations to Brugge approximately every half hour (departure from BRUSSELS NORTH e.g. on the hour and 26 min past the hour). The last departure is at 23.26 H. Traveling time from Brussels to Brugge is approximately one hour. If you travel by plane, arriving at Brussels National Airport, you can take the airport train to Brussels North station. Trains leave every 15 minutes and the traveling time is +/- 15 min.

Visit of the CRC at Louvain-la-Neuve

If you did not have the opportunity to visit our laboratory at Louvain-la-Neuve and would like to do so, please let us know: we will be glad to organize such a visit on wednesday, October 11.
